SECOND HAND SCHOOL UNIFORM SALE
The PTA will be holding a sale of second hand uniform on
Monday (27th April) on the playground after school.
EASTER FUN DAY
On Tuesday, the children all had a wonderful morning Easter Egg hunting. Thank you to all the parents who helped run the hunt and to Waitrose and the Co-op for the prizes.
The parents, staff and children weren't put off by a bit of rain in the afternoon and watched 100 balloons launch into the sky. Everyone did run into the hall for the bonnet parade! Well done to everyone who made lovely Easter Bonnets and thank-you to Poundland for the very generous prizes for everyone.
We are delighted that all 100 balloon tickets were sold making the total raised £300 for the school.
A big thank-you to Listers Honda for sponsoring the balloons.
For more images from the day please visit the Gallery section of the website.

Thank you for your continuing support.
St. Gregory's PTA work very hard to organise events to raise money for the school. Recently, we have been able to purchase new classroom chairs for Years 3, 5 and 6 and for the new DT room. This term, the PTA have also paid for the annual Junior Librarian (The School Library's computer system) subscription, the craft activity for Year 3's Reconciliation Service and a budget for each teacher to spend on their year group. St. Gregory's parents are always very generous, but to be able to continue to work with the school to fund projects we do need parents to support our events. Please read about the three events we have still to come this term and support them where you can.
EASTER FUN DAY - TUESDAY MARCH 24th
This is a fun packed day for the whole school. The children will be taking part in Easter Egg Treasure Hunts in the morning which is always very popular! Parents are invited from 2.15pm to watch the Easter Bonnet Parade.
We are very lucky this year to have Stratford-upon-Avon Poundland sponsoring the Easter Parade and every child who wears an Easter hat or mask will be given a small prize.
The parade will be followed by the Grand Balloon Launch generously sponsored by Listers Honda.
Tickets will go on sale next week.
There is no charge for the Easter Fun Day but we do need your support making bonnets and buying tickets for the Balloon Race.
ST GREGORY’S PTA PANTO – WATCH THIS SPACE.
Tickets are selling fast for this year’s Panto, “Watch this Space”: a futuristic pantomime for all the family in the school hall on Friday, 23rd January 2015 at 7.30pm & Saturday, 24th January 2015 at 2.30pm (Matinee) & 7.30pm.
The story is loosely based on the Snow White fairy tale; the distant planet of Nonamia is held in the iron grip of the wicked Queen Evilena. This vain monarch has taken a dislike to her stepdaughter, the beautiful Tia Maria and instructs her henchman, the sinister Raft Raider, to dispose of her.
Who can save her? Perhaps the crew of the Starship Boobieprize, a handsome Jedi Knight or an assortment of robots can. It’s guaranteed to be ‘out of this world’ with music and jokes to please all ages, not to mention the aliens fondly known as the ‘Space Girls’....oh no they’re not!....oh yes they zigazig are! Tickets are on sale from the school office, £6 Adults / £4 Space cadets.
Proceeds go to our School fund.
Zoey Holton would be pleased to hear from anyone who could volunteer to help with selling
refreshments. Help is also needed on Sat. 17th at 11.30am to put the rigging up for the stage as well as backstage for performances. If you are able to help in any capacity, please get in touch with Zoey, on 07813 369529.

Also, if you have any Star Wars/Star Trek props, e.g. light sabres, we would also love to hear from you.
A very big thank you to everyone who came and supported the Christmas School Fair. There was a
wonderful atmosphere with everyone working together to make it a really lovely event. Many thanks to all the parents and children who helped on the stalls and to the fabulous set up and clear up teams.
Thanks, also, to all the parents who baked cakes for the Christmas Fair - your cake tins can now be
collected from outside the school office. The results are in and the net profit for the fair is £2,753.63!
Well done, everyone! Thank you for all the hard work, dedication and continued commitment to raise funds for the improvement of our school.
St. Gregory's School Christmas Fair Saturday, 22nd November, 2-4 pm
The Christmas Fair is almost here! This is always a lovely event with lots of games, stalls, refreshments and most importantly the chance to visit Father Christmas. Thank you to everyone who has donated to the raffle and the tombolas. The fair can only happen with the support of St. Gregory's families.
We do still need more help. We have had very few offers to help set up on Friday evening. If you can spare some time between 7pm and 9pm on Friday 21st , please either let the school office or Dee Hinton or Clare Webb know. We also need more helpers for the stalls at the fair and clearing up. If you have volunteered to be on a stall, please arrive at the fair by 1.30pm.
Please do remember to return your money (cheques payable to "St. Gregory's School"), counterfoils and unsold raffle tickets to the school office as soon as possible.
We have another prize to add to the list: an M&S toiletries and wine hamper.
There will be a professional photographer at the school fair. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a family photograph taken or perhaps a picture of the children with their friends? The photographs will be available before Christmas and make lovely presents. There are limited slots and we only have a few left so please let either Dee Hinton or the school office know as soon as possible if you would like one.
Non-Uniform Day Friday November 21st
Please bring in homemade cakes for the cake stall. Years 5 and 6, please bring in boxed mince pies. Please check the sell by dates of the mince pies. Thanks for your continued support.
Please remember all money raised is spent on the school.
A big thank you from the PTA for all your Christmas card orders,
which has resulted in a £607.47 profit!
We are always open to fundraising ideas and if you would like to get in touch with us at any time or would like further information about meetings or events please use this contact form.
