Year 6 candidates for house and sport captains made excellent election speeches. They were articulate and had really considered the qualities needed to represent their house. Well done Year 6 - you are all worthy of the job. Good luck to all the candidates in the election.

History in the making! Year 6 had a fantastic experience at The Houses Of Parliament on the day the government was re - called, after Boris Johnson’s decision to prorogue parliament was found to be illegal by the Supreme High Court.

After a really interesting and informative tour of Westminster Hall, The House Of Commons, where we were able to listen to MP’s in session, The House Of Lords, where we were able to touch the red seats but not sit on them, we had a really interesting question and answer session with our MP, Nadim Zahawi. We had already prepared some questions in case we got a chance to speak to him but were able to ask other really interesting questions as he talked about his life and work.
